Record label responsible for releasing jazz and hip-hop influenced music which redefines those genres from its own perspective, famous for its eclectic approach to artists, musical output and DJ mixing style. Artists include Coldcut, Dj Food, Amon Tobin, DJ Vadim and The Cinematic Orchestra. Also home to Big Dada Recordings, one of the most forward looking UK rap labels to emerge in recent years which has focused on a strong collection of UK artists including Roots Manuva, TY and New Flesh, and the emerging UK styles, but also sampling the stranger flavours from the US, including work with Mike Ladd, Saul Williams and Dose One.
